OUAI Melrose Place Review
A review of my OUAI's rose fragrance.
Melrose Place smells like you just stepped out of the shower, and you have perfected your shower routine. This is the perfect clean and sparkling rose fragrance. It is not an expensive fragrance (at least not compared to niche fragrances), but it smells like a luxurious hairspray. All of this makes sense considering that the fragrance is made by OUAI, a haircare brand.
There are a couple of fragrances in my rotation year-round, but this is my most-used fragrance. Even though this is a fresh, clean rose evocative of spring, I wear this frequently in the winter as well. So far, I've gone through two travel sizes and have a sizable dent in my full bottle. This is perfect for most occasions, and if I spray lightly, I can wear this to the gym. It's soft enough to not be bothersome to others but brings me a little joy while I'm working out.
While it’s true I love this fragrance, it is very similar to others in my collection. Sweet citrus-rose fragrances hold a special place in my heart and make up a considerable portion of my perfume collection. Delina by Parfums de Marly, Lychee Rose by Nest, and Rose Struck by Liis are all similar enough that you may not want one if you have the others. Now I am NOT saying these are the same or dupes of each other, as they are all unique. What I AM saying, though, is if you like Delina or Rose Struck and don’t want to pay that much for a fragrance, this would be a great alternative with a similar vibe.
Keep on Sniffing,
Anosmic
